Ben Godfrey Signs For Everton

Everton have completed the signing of Ben Godfrey from Norwich City. The 22-year-old central defender joins for an undisclosed fee, after impressing last season in the Premier League despite the Canaries relegation. Godfrey has been capped at Under 20 and Under 21 level for England.

Carlo Ancelotti wanted another Centre Back to put pressure on Michael Keane, Yerry Mina and Mason Holgate and now has Godfrey to do this.

Godfrey becomes Everton’s 5th summer signing after Niels Nkounkou, Allan, James Rodriguez and Abdoulaye Doucoure.
