Is Leighton Baines Signing A New Contract?

 
It is very clear that Leighton Baines had been offered a contract extension at Everton and one that the club are hopeful that he’ll sign it next week. Baines has had that contract offer for a while and went on holiday and he’s been mulling it over and thinking about his options and rightly so.
 
 
He has been linked with a move to Los Angeles Galaxy or Los Angeles FC and enjoys holidaying in that part of the world. He will have had to weigh up whether or not his family will be open to that move because there is a difference between loving a place when you are on holiday and living there all year so maybe just at the minute he’s thinking well maybe I am not sure but in 12 months could be an option?
 
 
Maybe he has just decided that he is happy to go into a finch farm every day and enjoy training and be Luca Digne’s understudy so to speak and he can bring on Andy Robinson and in that 12 month period you know listen he could sign a year and then in January could move to LA Galaxy for all
we know.
But it does look as though the indications are that at the minute that he will be putting pen to paper on that extra year so we will have to wait and see as things can change in football.  but it’s you know next week.
