A group of Everton fans from Wallasey Supporters’ Club are to host a fundraising event in aid of Everton in the Community’s new mental health campaign ‘The People’s Place’ at Marine Street Social on Friday, November 30.

The charity event will include special guest Everton director of football, Marcel Brands, as well as Ambassadors Ian Snodin and Graham Stuart, plus more guests to be announced, and will be hosted by Everton Football Club’s Darren Griffiths.

Tickets are priced at just £25 and will include two food courses from the Marine Street Social vendors as well as live music and a raffle, giving those in attendance the opportunity to win some exclusive Everton memorabilia.

All proceeds raised will go towards supporting Everton in the Community’s campaign, ‘The People’s Place’, which will see the club’s official charity aim to develop, build and maintain a new purpose-built mental health facility in the shadows of Goodison Park. The new facility will become a delivery site for EitC’s existing mental health programmes as well as enable signposting to other services and support.

Robbie Quinn, Everton Supporter’s Club Wallasey Association, said:

“We are delighted to be welcoming Marcel Brands and Everton legends Ian Snodin, Graham Stuart and other exciting guests to speak to the fans.

“The 2018/19 season has started well and the recruitment policy has given all the supporters a lift. We look forward to welcoming Marcel to Wallasey to chat about all things Everton. This EitC project is close to all our hearts and we thank Marcel for giving us his time for the charity.”
