Evertonians may be aware that Everton In The Community (EITC) have collaborated with local race organisers BTR Liverpool and the Everton Heritage Society to host a charity fun run to raise vital funds for the People’s Place campaign called ‘If You Know Your History’. The event is inclusive to all and is aimed at all ages and abilities, people are encouraged to run, walk or jog.

The 5k route takes runners through 141 years of Everton history, passing by the Everton Lock-Up Tower at the heart of EFC’s badge, The Everton Toffee Shop, The Queen’s Head Hotel, St Domingo’s Chapel, The Sandon Hotel, EFC’s second headquarters finishing in Stanley Park were a range of engaging activity will take place.

This run is another first for Everton and our aim is to make this one of our flag ship events that will continue to raise funds year on year for the People’s Place project.

On the day there Blues Giant Duncan Ferguson, former Manager and number 9 Joe Royle plus a number of Everton Hero’s over the years will be present to support the run and engage with runners.

There is £20 entry fee and participants will be encouraged to raise as much as possible whether this be £5, £10, £20 and so on, there is no expectation on this, it is the taking part that counts.
