Everton went into the game looking for their first Premier League win at Stamford Bridge in 21 years and really should of ended that poor run, after leading twice in the game.
After a quiet first half, the Blues raced into a quick two goal lead thanks to a John Terry own goal and a sublime Kevin Mirallas effort but were soon pegged back when a defensive mix up between Phil Jagielka and Tim Howard allowed Diego Coasta to score into an open goal. The home side were then level when a Fabregas shot took a deflection to beat the stranded Howard.
Everton once again thought they had secured a last-minute winner through Mori, only to see Terry controversially atone for his earlier mistake by levelling the game from a clearly off side position, much to the anger of Roberto Martinez and the players.
