Everton made one change to the side that beat Bournemouth in the FA Cup, with Kevin Mirallas replacing Tom Cleverley, and it was his corner that was met by Ramiro Funes Mori to give Everton the lead

Romelu Lukaku made it 3-0 when he tapped in Funes Mori’s cross before Rudy Gestede headed a consolation for Villa.

The win moves Everton up to tenth place in the Premier League, ahead of a home game against West Ham United.
