On this episode of Toffee TV, Ped and Baz look back at a fantastic night at Goodison Park, where Everton beat Manchester City 2-1 in the first leg of the Capital One Cup Semi Final.

The Blues will take a goal advantage into the second leg of the tie at the Etihad stadium in three weeks thanks to a Romelu Lukaku header.

Everton had to ride out early Manchester City pressure, but took the lead on the stroke of half time, when Ramiro Funes Mori responded quickest to a Willy Caballero save from Gerard Deulofeu’s thunderous shot, for an easy tap in.

The Blues had chances to increase their lead but Navas levelled the game from a breakaway.

But Everton weren’t to be denied and Lukaku took his tally to 19 goals, when he headed in Gareth Barry’s superb cross to send Goodison Park beserk.
